Daniel slipped me into his very busy day to assess why I had been losing water in my pool for months. My pool service wasn't sure and recommended I buy a new pump at $1,300+. To get a leak detection service out would have cost at least $425! Daniel quickly figured out the problem in the ball valve, fixed it and charged me only $200. It was the best $200 I ever spent. Just wow!! The name says it all Texas Proud!! I've had several companies service my pool but none to the standards this gentlemen presented. Not only did he clean the pool, he educated me on my system. I didn't believe some things he said so I jumped on the computer and searched online what we discussed and bam! Dude was spot on. I was looking to get my pool system automated and have a new variable speed pump installed. I had a few companies give a quote and all the prices were pretty comparable. What stood out with Texas Proud Pools was Daniel. From the get go Daniel seemed extremely knowledgeable, went over everything about the system and how to maintain it and answered all questions. After some back and forth with the other companies I decided on Texas Proud Pools and I couldn't be happier with the results. Daniel went above and beyond the set everything up. He even helped with some waterfall lights that would have cost a lot of money to get an electrician to come out and rewire. He was able to repair that issue after working on it for awhile and did that at no extra charge. I'll be using Texas Proud Pools for any and all pool needs in the future. Called the owner Daniel on Thursday asking him about an advice on my new pump I installed my self and I was having problem with it, I sent him pictures of the pump and the plumbing he walked me through the issue but no luck!!! He called me saying that he's in the neighborhood and he would like to stop by to look at it. when he got to my house he discovered that the problem was electricals not the pump itself. He fixed the the problem and explained every step of the way. My pool started to turn green he added chemicals for a very low price. I highly recommend Daniel and Texas Proud Pools. My main pump had been out for a week while I kept waiting and waiting for another company to give me a quote and time frame of being able to fix the issues. I called Texas Proud Pools on a Friday and Daniel started working immediately. He ran by, took a look and got me a quote within just a couple of hours. The quote ended up being better than the other company that finally sent a quote but couldn't start for 4-5 days, so I asked for a couple of upgrades. After I approved the quote, Daniel ran all over Houston the same day to get the parts needed. He started the next day, a Saturday, which was a day off he was using to prep for vacation. Not only did he get everything repaired he was even able to install the upgrades the same day. Daniel was able to handle all of this while I was out of town for a funeral. He communicated with me the entire time and explained everything in detail. Daniel followed up after his vacation and Thanksgiving to see how things were running. I let him know there was a small issue with the pump not kicking on with the program. He came by with in 15 minutes. It ended up being a switch starting to fail inside the control panel. I can’t say enough about this quick response we received and as a new customer. The problem was accessed and he even went and got the part locally to fix it the same day! I called Texas proud Pools- on a Monday morning and by Monday afternoon Daniel came over and accessed the problems I had with my pool. Pump was leaking and various other problems primarily due to the age of the equipment. Daniel gave me estimates on replacing and repairing. He was very efficient and courteous.
